The CITY OF BRISTOL TENNESSEE is accepting application for the following positions: Digital Media & Communications Manager Will provide complex new marketing campaigns, brand promotions for the City, develop the organization's social media strategy, including marketing plans that leverage social media outlets.
Oversee the City's PEG channel in a producer's role.
Able to provide analytics from all platforms.
Create and implement communication programs.
Identification of press opportunities and develop content to be disseminated via press releases, newsletters, website, social media, PEG Channel, etc.
Master's Degree in Communications or related field; or Bachelor's Degree with 10 years related experience in marketing and social media.
Basic knowledge of Adobe products, including Premier, Social, Analytics, Audition and Photoshop.
Certifications in Good AdWords, Google Analytics and Hootsuite.
Experience in Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Experience in creating content for TV programming, digital content.
Must have strong communication skills, be an organized strategist, resilient to stress.
Creativity and superb writing and editing skills required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
STAFF ACCOUNTANT Performs professional accounting work.
Requires BS Degree in Accounting or related field with 1 to 3 years' accounting experience.
Must be able to perform accounting and financial research, be motivated and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
Must have knowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Auditing, Financial Reporting, and Statements of Auditing Standards.
Governmental Accounting experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Excel, Access, and Word.
