General Employee Responsibilities

Maintain digital calendar and archive annually on June 30. Provide supervisor with access to calendar and an archived copy of calendar for annual performance review.

Lead/promote College and TBR initiatives as they relate to this office.
In all duties assigned, show a commitment to quality, customer service, professionalism, and Northeast State Community College: to include students, College employees, and the community served by Northeast State. Be an active and contributing part of the Northeast State Team.
Follow professional code of conduct and ethics; maintain professional dress in compliance with expectations of the position.
Complete other assignments as directed by supervisor/Vice President for Student Affairs.

Specific Role and Responsibilities
Promote campus-wide awareness of the CCAMPIS program, and oversee outreach and recruitment activities
Determine participant eligibility and coordinate enrollment process, to include comprehensive participant orientation
Serve as primary point of contact for childcare center partners; actively coordinate with centers to match student childcare needs with available childcare openings.
Conduct regular meetings with program participants to monitor participant progress, ensure adherence to program requirements, and provide coaching
Identify barriers to success and refer to appropriate resources as needed
Monitor progress toward CCAMPIS project goals
Prepare and monitor fiscal and technical progress reports, authorize grant expenditures, and monitor the grant budget
Lead the implementation of the CCAMPIS project evaluation plan, with support from the Research, Analytics, & Planning Office
Collect data and documentation in support of grant program reporting and evaluation requirements
Ensure that grant activities are implemented in a manner consistent with the approved grant agreement and any subsequently approved modifications
Maintain appropriate grant records, in accordance with grant or agency guidelines and State of Tennessee records retention requirements
Ensure that the CCAMPIS program operates in compliance with U.S. Department of Education grant policies and terms; federal grant administration guidance; and Tennessee Board of Regents and Northeast State Community College operational policies and procedures
Requirements of the Position
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Pre K-3 education, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
Communication – Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written); ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Experience – Recent experience working in childcare agencies or case management experience with opportunity populations preferred
Technology Skills: MS Office skills, Word, Excel; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
Higher education administration
Willingness to remain flexible.

Proficiency with functioning in a team-oriented environment
Displays the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, staff and administration to advance the mission of the institution.

Day hours will be required
Some evening and weekend hours may be required
Travel required (campus sites, childcare centers, and grant-required meetings)
Perform responsibilities in office and childcare environments
